L’Italia continua ad essere il primo paese di arrivo per rifugiati e migranti in Europa, con 98.353 domande di protezione internazionale presentate nel 2024. L’inclusione lavorativa è un aspetto cruciale per l’integrazione di queste persone, che, attraverso il lavoro, non solo ricostruiscono le loro vite dopo esperienze traumatiche, ma contribuiscono anche all’economia del paese e diventano membri attivi della comunità.

Il progetto “A Better Future for Women” del Codacons si pone l’obiettivo di facilitare l’incontro tra domanda e offerta di lavoro per i rifugiati, in particolare le donne. Grazie a sportelli dedicati e corsi di formazione, il progetto sostiene il loro percorso verso l’autonomia economica e l’integrazione sociale, rendendo il lavoro una chiave fondamentale per il loro futuro.

Codacons: Employment Inclusion of Refugees with the “A Better Future for Women” Project

Italy remains the top destination for refugees and migrants in Europe, with 98,353 applications for international protection filed in 2024. Employment inclusion is a key aspect of refugees’ integration into society. For these individuals, finding a job means not only rebuilding their lives after traumatic experiences but also gaining independence, contributing to the country’s economy, and becoming active members of the community.

The Codacons project “A Better Future for Women” aims to facilitate the match between job demand and supply for refugees, especially women. Through dedicated offices and training courses, the project supports their path toward economic autonomy and social integration, with employment being a crucial key to their future.
