Durante la VI edizione del programma Welcome. Working for Refugee Integration, è stato annunciato che il numero delle donne rifugiate inserite nel mondo del lavoro è passato dal 18% al 20%. Questo incremento riflette l’impegno crescente delle imprese italiane, che hanno dimostrato una maggiore attenzione nei confronti dei rifugiati e, in particolare, delle donne rifugiate, contribuendo al loro inserimento lavorativo e sociale. Il progetto “A Better Future for Women” del Codacons si inserisce in questo contesto, offrendo supporto alle donne rifugiate per potenziare i loro percorsi di integrazione, attraverso sportelli dedicati e corsi di formazione. L’obiettivo è migliorare le opportunità professionali per queste donne, contribuendo alla loro autonomia economica e sociale.

Codacons: Increase of Refugee Women in the Workforce with the “A Better Future for Women” Project

During the 6th edition of the Welcome. Working for Refugee Integration program, it was announced that the number of refugee women entering the workforce has increased from 18% to 20%. This growth highlights the rising commitment of Italian companies, which have become more attentive to the condition of refugees, particularly women, supporting their employment and social integration. The “A Better Future for Women” project by Codacons is part of this effort, providing support to refugee women through dedicated offices and training courses. The goal is to enhance their professional opportunities, promoting their economic and social independence.
