Il progetto A Better Future for Women, promosso dal Codacons, nasce per rispondere alle difficoltà che molte donne rifugiate incontrano al loro arrivo in Italia. Provenienti da contesti di conflitto, instabilità o gravi violazioni dei diritti, queste donne si trovano ad affrontare ulteriori ostacoli legati alla lingua, alle differenze culturali e all’accesso al mondo del lavoro.
Grazie a percorsi formativi, attività di orientamento e un accompagnamento costante, il progetto offre strumenti concreti per superare queste barriere e favorire un’integrazione reale, basata sull’autonomia economica e sull’inclusione sociale.
“Per molte di loro, anche le azioni più semplici, come comunicare, orientarsi o cercare un impiego, rappresentano una sfida quotidiana. Il nostro obiettivo è creare uno spazio sicuro e accogliente dove possano ricostruire il proprio futuro con dignità e fiducia,” dichiarano i responsabili del progetto.
Nei prossimi mesi, A Better Future for Women proseguirà con l’attivazione di nuovi corsi professionalizzanti e il rafforzamento della rete di supporto, coinvolgendo anche imprese e associazioni del territorio.

A Better Future for Women: A Path to Inclusion for Refugee Women

The A Better Future for Women project, promoted by Codacons, was created to address the many challenges faced by refugee women upon arriving in Italy. Coming from contexts marked by conflict, instability, or severe human rights violations, these women often face additional obstacles such as language barriers, cultural differences, and limited access to the labor market.
Through training courses, orientation activities, and continuous support, the project provides concrete tools to overcome these challenges and foster genuine integration, based on economic independence and social inclusion.
“For many of them, even the simplest actions—communicating, finding their way around, or seeking employment—become daily challenges. Our goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where they can rebuild their future with dignity and confidence,” say the project coordinators.
In the coming months, A Better Future for Women will continue by launching new professional training courses and strengthening its support network, involving local businesses and associations.
